Job summary
Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust (BEH) provides healthcare services locally, regionally and nationally. We serve a population of 1.2 million, employ more than 3,300 staff, and operate from over 20 main sites in the community. As a multiple award winning Trust we provide mental health services for young people, adults and older people, and have a full range of child and adult community health services in Enfield. Our North London Forensic Service treats and cares for people in the criminal justice system who have mental health conditions. We also provide one of the largest eating disorders services in England, as well as drug and alcohol services, and mental health liaison services at Barnet Hospital and the North Middlesex University Hospital. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
- Registered Mental Health Practitioner.
- Dip/BSc (Hons) in Mental Health Nursing or Occupational Therapy
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
Essential
- Minimum two years post registration experience, one of which will be as working with people with complex mental health problems.
- Awareness of patient care within the wider context of the organisation
SKILLS AND ABILITIES

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to assess clinical situations quickly and use initiative
