We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Temporary Staffing Bookings Officer to join our dynamic team. As a Bookings officer you will work closely with management to support the provision of anexpert and responsive booking/temporary staffing service to all Trust managers, staff and candidates. We are looking for enthusiastic individual with an outgoing personality and excellent customer service skills to enhance our temporary staffing/bookings service
The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational delivery of the service , promoting the sustainability of the internal bank, increasing quality, reducing the reliance on agency and driving down temporary staffing spend across the Trust and work proactively to ensure compliance with framework agreements and NHS Employers requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their experience and knowledge and be part of a dedicated team in assisting with the reduction in agency usage.
Main duties of the job
To provide a comprehensive high quality Bank recruitment and bookings service to all BEH managers, staff bank members and potential applicants.To support and develop e- recruitment processes. To act as a first point of contact to candidates interested in becoming Staff Bank members.Provide a general recruitment support service as required and work as part of the Staff Bank team ensuring an effective and efficient recruitment service.
You will have knowledge of sourcing temporary workers via the approved frameworks and other external factors that affect temporary staffing.
Excellent communication skills are essential as the post requires the ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with Bank staff, Ward/Department Managers, Agency suppliers as well as HR colleagues. You should also have excellent IT skills and confidence in producing and analysing reports, identifying trends, monitoring KPIs and keeping accurate records.
