Job summary

We are delighted to offer 5 (five) Band 5 positions for our exciting Trailblazer Team (Mental Health Support Team). This team works hand in hand with schools to provide work to enhance wellbeing and resilience, mental health education and training. We are looking for people trained as Children and Wellbeing Practitioners (CWP) to join the team (3 posts) and as Emotional Well-Being Practitioner (2post)

Main duties of the job

You will need to be enthusiastic about mental health and education, have some experience of helping young people with mental health difficulties, and ideally experience of the education system. We offer a fun and supportive working environment and take the wellbeing and development of our staff very seriously. We welcome those people who are keen to help develop our service and at the same time develop new skills and have had some great success promoting from within the team recently.

In Enfield, we provide a full range of child and adult community health services, which over the last few years has been integrating with its mental health services to provide better and more holistic care. BEH manages the renowned North London Forensic Services (NLFS) which delivers MH care across some of the prisons and provides MH services as HM Young Offenders Institutions in Aylesbury. We are rated as 'Outstanding' by the CQC. We have also been appointed as the lead provider of forensic mental health services across North London managing the devolved New Models of care budget of £170m from 2018/19.
