The Enfield MHST is an innovative and valued service, building relationships with other Enfield CAMHS teams, education, and community stakeholders / partners. We welcome applications from enthusiastic, highly motivated, compassionate, and resourceful individuals with the ability to support clinicians/practitioners in their clinical and community work, and manage the day to day operations of the team, with skills to forge effective partnerships with schools to deliver this ambitious project.

Enfield MHST is part of a Borough-wide CYPIAPT partnership, and we are seeking candidates with a commitment to evidence-based practice, young people's participation, routine outcomes and promoting shared decision making with children and families. We are also committed to developing iTHRIVE, trauma informed practice in schools and collaborative working with other services for children and young people across the borough.

Main duties of the job

The MHST Operational Managers will have several key roles within the team. The managers will support the day to day functioning of the team, working in partnership with schools to deliver a service for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties and their families, promoting whole school approaches to mental health and wellbeing, and collaborative and community models of mental health. Management duties may include team caseload management, monitoring quarterly compliance, data management / audit, supporting quality improvement projects, and other areas of national / locally driven service development tasks. The postholder will have a small clinical caseload, as well as provide clinical and management supervision into the team and team meetings.

Working under the direction of Dr Chantell Douglas (Principal Clinical Psychologist and MHST Clinical Lead) and the CAMHS whole Service Lead, the postholder will play an important role in the development of the MHSTs and integration within local education provision, facilitating wider service transformation within the local CYP systems and partnership, and building relationships with schools and other community services.
