This adult community physiotherapy team has a full time vacancy which we wish to fill with a dynamic passionate physiotherapist who wishes to join our existing team of band 7's, band 6's, band 5 and technical instructors. Do you have a specific interest in community working?

Your initial appointment will be working in Adult Community Physiotherapy team for 16 months, after which time you may be asked to relocate to a similar, alternative role within the Trust.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic clinician, keen to work with us in shaping and developing our services to meet the challenges of delivering appropriate care in the right place and at the right time. We need you to be passionate about making a difference to patients and their families. We are continually looking at our service delivery and how our services can integrate more fully to provide 1st class care to the population we serve.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • Minimum of 18 months - 2 years post graduate experience.
  • Broad post graduate experience with significant component in relevant area Minimum of 12 months NHS experience as a physiotherapist.

Desirable

  • Participation in Project /audit activities.
  • Experience of working in a community setting.

SKILLS AND APPTITUDES

Essential

  • Ability to prioritise, organise and work in a busy environment.
  • Ability to keep accurate and legible patient notes.

Desirable

  • Good presentation skills.
  • Experience of organising internal or external training session/course.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION

Essential

  • Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy HPC Registered.
  • Evidence of ongoing CPD in portfolio.

Desirable

  • Attendance at relevant Post Graduate Courses.
  • Member of relevant CIG.

OTHER ESSENTIAL FACTORS

Essential

  • Fluent in written and spoken English. Good communication skills.
  • Ability to meet demands of the post.

  • Fluent in any local language.
