An exciting opportunity Barnet has arisen for the right person to help clinically lead this transformation. We have an opportunity for a Clinical Director to support the clinical transformation for Mental Health Services. We are looking for a full time Clinical Director working 10 PAs per week with 20% responsibility allowance. The responsibility allowance is only applied to 0.6 WTE (Management role) and the 0.4 WTE (Clinical role) without responsibility allowance.
Main duties of the job
As the Clinical Director you will work in partnership with the Managing Director on a day to day basis to ensure the effective operation of existing services, help develop new partnerships, pathways and service models. Together you will ensure the effective deployment of Clinical Director and Managing Director skills to support the requirements of the Division. You will need to be creative and flexible as you will participate in the future development of the Trust.
You will need to be a practicing consultant. You will lead the development of clinical practice across the Division, ensuring safe and effective practice, systems of clinical involvement and provide assurance of clinicians professional development.

The Clinical Director will support the Medical Director in the design and implementation of service strategy and will lead specific work streams within the Transformation Programme, priorities and objectives.
