Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the ROH Digital team as a Microsoft 365 Product Specialist / Administrator.
Digital, Data & Technology Services is a dynamic service, and the right person will be motivated by the desire to design, improve, and manage high quality services that ultimately ensure our patients get better treatment and better outcomes. This role is very much key to the successful implementation of our Microsoft 365 suite of applications and the integration within the NHS Digital National 365 Tenancy within the Trust and within ROH own Microsoft Tenant.
You will be expected to have an excellent technical understanding of how Microsoft 365 can be configured to support improved digital workspace for multiple stakeholder types, ensuring the correct digital services are configured for specified and prioritised use cases, considering user and student experience, interoperability, capability, and cost effectiveness.
The role will leverage the national Microsoft 365 tenancy provided by NHS Digital alongside ROH Own Tenant and be responsible for all aspects of service configuration, including but not limited to, Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), One Drive, SharePoint, PowerApps, Forms, Power Automate, EM&S and Intune.
You will also be responsible for providing day-to-day support of the ROH NHS 365 tenancy along with supporting the NHS shared tenancy, ensuring staff, tutors and students have a seamless experience.
Main duties of the job
- Work closely with the ROH Digital Team to lead the Microsoft 365 build and configure new and existing solutions that meet user needs and business priorities.
- Work closely with the ROH Digital department, communications and other business teams to provide effective incident and problem management for Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, MS Forms, Power Apps, Power BI and Power Automate.
- Provide proactive setup and management of auditing, compliance and reporting in Microsoft 365.
- Support the assessment of emerging Microsoft 365 technologies for use across the wider organisation, including build and configuration of proof of concepts / pilots to identify best practice.
- Management of the Local Organisation Staff, Tutor, and Student accounts with Active Directory, NHS Mail Admin Portal.
- Management of the Microsoft 365 applications through the Microsoft Portal & NHS Mail Shared Tenant Platform.
- Manage day to day access requests for SharePoint and ensure correct permission groups are maintained.
- Point of escalation for technical advice, assistance, and resolution, regarding 365 services for all staff across the trust and external partners.
- To help produce, maintain, and update new and existing standard operational procedure documentation that will be implemented across the Trust.
- Maintaining the overall levels of required licences, annual review of licence usage and adjustments as required.
- Provide SharePoint training to champions which own there own SharePoint pages.
