Job summary
We are looking for an experienced individual who is looking to progress further in their career and would like to join our existing team over a 7 day rota. You will be a dynamic and highly motivated individual and have flexibility to be able to work within a busy and demanding environment.
An Enhanced DBS with Children's & Adults' Barred List checks will be required for this role.
This vacancy is open to all internal and external candidates. NHS employees should ideally secure their manager's agreement for a secondment prior to applying, as this will be a condition of any offer made.This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term basis to provide cover for an employee on maternity leave and will end on March 2026 or when the substantive postholder returns. Whilst this post is advertised on an fixed term basis there is the potential that this post may become permanent in the future.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will-
- Support senior colleagues in the management and organisation of the Emergency Care Centre and to work in all areas. Play a key role in coordinating the day-to-day activities in the Emergency Care Centre. To supervise and develop the nursing team, ensuring that a high standard of patient care is delivered.
- To ensure the efficient running of the Children's Emergency Care Centre acting as a supervisor and care giver.
