Job summary

We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Staff Nurse for37.5 hours per week to cover a maternity leave for 12 months The working hours would be Monday-Sunday day shifts and night shifts on internal rotation.

You will be based on Aspull ward at the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary. The ward is a 28 bedded unit based on the acute site.

Candidates will only be shortlisted if they have a valid NMC registration.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidates duties and responsibilities will be to

  • Manage a bay of patients pre and post operative.
  • Create and implement care plans
  • Administer medication, dressings and wound care and communicate with the MDT.
