Job summary

The post holder will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and support of the Trusts IT orientated project within the IT Services Department .

The Senior Network Analyst is responsible for maintaining and improving the network infrastructure of the Trust. They will ensure the stability and integrity of in-house voice, data, video, and wireless network services. This is achieved by planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization. The post holder will also be required to problem manage issue that arise due to the deployment of new technology before its handed over to BAU.

Main duties of the job

Project Engineer will oversee technical projects to assure a high level of accuracy and quality. They work with teams to translate requirements into implementable tasks with practical timelines. They will also collaborate with end user/suppliers to find and solve any problems within the project plans and budgeting.

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent qualification or experience
  • Professional qualification e.g. MCP/MCSE
  • ITIL Foundation Qualification
  • PRINCE 2 Foundation Qualification
