Job summary
A vacancy has arisen as a MDT Coordinator/Tracker Band 4 for 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday in a fixed term/secondment full time role until September 2024 to cover Maternity Leave.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, together with an ability to prioritise their workload and work well under pressure, using their own initiative.
We are responsible for all submissions to Cancer Waiting times, The Cancer Registry, Peer Review and National cancer audits and Data sets.
Vacancy may potentially become permanents
Successful candidates will be required to provide evidence of qualifications.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will-
- Work will be vital in supporting the timely and quality care for patients with suspected or confirmed cancer and in ensuring that the Trust continues to provide a high quality of services for cancer patients.
- Use of the Somerset Cancer Registry system and the teleconferencing equipment are essential to the MDT Coordinator's role so someone who is familiar or confident with operating IT systems is essential.
- Have a good understanding of key NHS policy and cancer targets is essential, as well as having experience of multi-disciplinary working.
