Job summary
This post will provide support to our medical divisions, with their end-to-end recruitment process for all grades of medical staff.
The post is fixed term for 10 months to cover a period of maternity leave within the team so this is an ideal opportunity for an experienced administrator to gain experience in a fast paced medical recruitment team. NHS Employees should ideally secure their manager's agreement for a secondment arrangement ideally prior to applying, as this will be a condition of any offer made.
The post holder will be working as part of a newly formed Medical Workforce team so joining at a very exciting time for the organisation.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for all medical vacancies within a specific clinical Division but also provide cross cover for the other Recruitment Officers within the Medical Workforce team.
The key duties for this role will be:
- Identifying vacant posts and working with Recruiting Managers to raise vacancies.
- Support Recruiting Managers with planning of shortlisting, interview and offers stages.
- Identifying vacancies from our Doctor in Training post and maintaining changeover records of all incoming and outgoing rotational doctors.
- Process on-boarding of all doctors.
- Issuing of contracts, amendment to contracts and standard employment letters.
