Job summary
Rainbow Ward is seeking proactive, enthusiastic band 2 Clinical Support Workers to join the WWL family on ourfriendly Children's Ward. The ward hasbenefited from recent investmentto create asensory zone, and we have a dedicatedTeen Zonearea, providing age appropriate spaces for our patients, day to day.
We are looking for a conscientious, enthusiastic, friendly person to join our team on Rainbow Ward at Wigan on a permanent basis.
Main duties of the job
You will have previous experience within a healthcare setting and ideally hold an NVQ 2, have excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to work independently. Previous experience in working within a Paediatric setting would be desirable but is not essential.
You will be required to function as a member of the Multi-disciplinary Team by assisting the registered nurse in the health care provision for sick children/babies and their families.The post is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
