Medical Workforce Recruitment Administrator, Band 3 fixed term until 12th June 2024.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to support the development and growth of the medical temporary staffing workforce and support the on-boarding/recruitment for WWL employed medics and Lead Employer Doctors in Training.

This vacancy is open to all internal and external candidates. NHS Employees should ideally secure their manager's agreement for a secondment arrangement ideally prior to applying, as this will be a condition of any offer made. This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term basis due to funding and will end on 12/06/2024. Whilst this post is advertised on a secondment basis there is the potential that this post may become permanent in the future.

The role of the Medical Workforce Recruitment Administrator is to be an integral part of the Medical Workforce Team. Supporting the delivery of a new temporary staffing system this role will co- ordinate the onboarding process for NHS bank workers joining the WWL internal bank.
The post holder will work closely with the Medical Recruitment/Temp Staffing Team Leader, Medical Workforce Recruitment Officers, Medical Workforce Officer and Rota Co-ordinators to identify areas of high locum usage and support in providing more cost-effective ways to provide medical cover.
The post holder will support the Medical Workforce Team in all aspects of Medical Workforce matters providing administration support.

- Co ordinating the recruitment process for on boarding new locum doctors to the internal locum bank
- Promoting the Medical Locum bank ensuring internal doctors are on boarded and set up to work in the appropriate clinical areas
- Providing administration support to the Medical Locum Project Steering Group
- Supporting the Medical Workforce Officer in preparing Work schedules for doctors in training
- Supporting the Medical Workforce Officer and Lead in tasks that are delegated to this role
- Providing administration support to the Medical Locum Steering Group taking minutes and organising meetings

- Working closely with the recruitment team to identify new doctors in training that are rotating to WWL to prepare work schedules as per the contractual timescales

- Support the monthly exception report process by providing administration support to close outstanding exception reports
- Manage time to seek swift resolutions to outstanding issues
- Support in communication of the new Medical Locum system to doctors, managers and rota coordinators
- Identify training requirements for the locum temporary staffing system and provide administration support to the Head of Medical Workforce who will deliver the training
- Be the first point of contact and provide support and advice to all users during the Medical Locum system implementation process
- Provide regular updates to locum doctors throughout the onboarding process
- Support payroll with any pay queries for locum doctors
