We are excited to welcome an enthusiastic Business Support Officer to join our Adult Mental Health Service. This role is specifically to support our new adult ADHD & Autism service.
This key role within the team will be to provide Business Support Function to the Team, as we seek to support adults across South Staffordshire experiencing ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and Autism. We are a supportive team, who are passionate about delivering excellent care as well as promoting staff wellbeing.
As a person you will need to be self-motivated, with the ability to prioritise your daily workload whilst also managing your working time effectively. You will be able to work independently as well as being a good team player, with excellent communication and accuracy skills.
Main duties of the job
- Request information / activity reports that are required on behalf of the Service Manager and Operational Team Leader including data timeliness, data quality, contract monitoring reports, waitingtimes etc.
- Provide a central point of contact to respond to/resolve any queries on behalf of Service Manager and Operational Team Leader where appropriate in relation to all Key Performance Indicators.
- To provide administrative support in relation to the BSO role only.
- Attend internal and external meetings relevant to post, taking minutes and distributing using appropriate systems, arranging a variety of meetings and sourcing agenda items, as directed by theService Manager and Operational Team Leader.
- Process staff change forms and relevant letters; data amendment forms; termination forms and general HR relevant information.
- Support and participate in the Business Meetings held on a monthly basis within the clinical teams.
- Contribute to a robust and strong cohesive framework from the established BSO network, providing support to colleagues to ensure consistency and equity of provision across Services.
- Responsible for liaising with Corporate / Support Services to obtain data / performance reports.
- Provide regular monthly Service/Team updates as required to Service Manager and Operational Team Leader.
- Undertake regular 1:1 supervision sessions with identified administration staff as directed by the Service Manager or Operational Team Lead and report any training issues and needs.
