Job summary

This permanent post are full-time 37.5 hours per week and would be a wonderful opportunity for a newly qualified podiatrist. You will be working with a team of podiatrists and podiatry assistants covering a population of approximately 250,000.

You will be supported to work as an autonomous practitioner assessing; diagnosing; care planning; and reviewing child and adult patients with a multitude of clinical conditions. Our advanced practitioners in biomechanics,paediatrics, rehabilitation, rheumatology, diabetes & wound care provide expert help and advice and offer mentorship programs to all staff. The Midlands partnership Trust offers Oxleas preceptorship development opportunities. The service works closely with district nursing teams, tissue viability nurses, consultant lead multidisciplinary clinics, allied health professionals and local integrated teams.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking a Podiatrist who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, who are able to work on their own as well as part of a team. A commitment to patient care to assist patients to achieve their potential is essential. You will be encouraged to take part in various CPD activities including clinical support, supportive supervision and in-house training during team meetings. You should have the ability to travel around the district.
