As a Navigator in our Mental Health and Social Inclusion Hub, you will play a crucial role in assessing mental health referrals primarily through telephone consultations. Using your exceptional judgment and empathy, you will determine the needs, risks, and urgency of response for each individual. By delivering safe and effective services, you will guide them towards the appropriate level of support.

Main duties of the job
- You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, primarily receiving calls, processing enquiries and facilitating the triage of people referred into the MHSI Hub team.
- Supervise Assistant MHSI Hub Navigators and support MH Practitioners on the MHSI hub to ensure a high quality service is provided.
- Assist individuals with mental health needs to navigate and access specialist health, social care and community services that will support them in their individual recovery journey
- A commitment to delivering a flexible service which operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year

- oLevel 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent and willing to undertake additional qualifications in Health and Social Care
- oPossesses a recognised basic IT qualification (ECDL or equivalent) or can display IT skills to an equivalent level of competence
- oA clear understanding of and commitment to equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practice
Desirable
- oCustomer Care/Service or Business Administration qualification
