Clinical Liaison Practitioner
The closing date is 20 June 2025
Job summary
Are you passionate about supporting women in crisis during the perinatal period? We're recruiting two Clinical Liaison Practitioners to form a new team, delivering a specialist perinatal mental health outreach service.
This is a rare opportunity to help shape a responsive service from the ground up--providing urgent, place-based assessments and support to women experiencing, or at high risk of, acute mental illness in the perinatal period. The service will cover a large geographical area, primarily supporting women living in areas served by the Brockington Parent and Baby Unit, including Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and the Black Country.
As a founding team member, you'll play a key role in delivering high-impact, collaborative care. You'll work closely with Crisis Teams, Approved Mental Health Professionals, Liaison Services, Perinatal Community Teams, inpatient units, and local maternity providers to ensure women and families receive timely, compassionate, and expert care.
We're seeking experienced, motivated nurses with a background in perinatal and crisis care. This role suits clinicians confident in autonomous working, dynamic risk assessment, and who are excited to make a real impact in a new and evolving service.
A full UK driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle are essential.
If you're ready to bring your expertise, energy, and compassion to help shape a new development in urgent perinatal care, we'd love to hear from you.
