Hours are either 3pm-6pm or 12pm-6pm Monday to Friday only. £12.07 PH

The post holder will be responsible for a full range of housekeeping duties which may include working on wards and in service user and staff areas.

The role is based within the Directorate of Facilities and Estates which provides a wide range of services to its Host Trust and Partners within Staffordshire, Stoke-on -Trent, Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin. The post is a bank position working for the housekeeping department in Stafford, St Georges. ST16 2SR

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide a range of housekeeping duties that will include:Maintaining the required standard of cleaning services following the correct procedure and frequenciesUndertaking a variety of cleaning duties in line with the ward/area/location cleaning schedules (may include operating specialist equipment)Carrying out specialist cleaning and one off cleaning duties in line with Supervisors requirementsEnsuring that there is a general, pleasant and well maintained environment for service users

Skills and ExperienceFull training will be given for the role however; previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage, as would previous NHS experience.Candidates should meet all the essential aspects of the Person Specification which can be found at the rear of the Job Description.
