Job summary

We are looking for a qualified and registered Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner with at least 1 year post qualification experience who is committed to the Step 2 model of care and puts patient care and staff wellbeing at the heart of everything they do

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be part of the wider leadership team and should be a highly organized and motivated individual. It is imperative that you can provide evidence of working with people who have experienced a mental health problem, be able to demonstrate an understanding of how anxiety and depression presents in Primary Care and have a real interest in helping people with anxiety and depression to achieve a level of recovery which will improve their overall wellbeing and day to day life

The post involves significant line management, case management and clinical supervision of Trainee/Qualified Low Intensity workers under the direction of the Clinical Director, Senior Therapist and Step 2 Lead. The post holder will be expected to carryout assessments and risk assessments, treatment in both 1-1 and group settings and use online CBT packages

Applicants should hold a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner qualification (Post Graduate Certificate or Level 3 undergraduate course). Applicants should also be registered/working towards registration with the BABCP or BPS. Ideally you will have undertaken LTC training and Supervision Training or be willing to undertake this training

The service works core 9-5 hours but offers patient therapy between the hours of 8am-8pm Monday to Friday and in future on Saturday mornings. Candidates should be prepared to work flexibly to meet service needs within these hours. This management role provides the opportunity to work 1 day a week remotely
