Job summary
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join the Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Care Group supporting the Children's and Family Services in Shropshire.
Children and Young People's Mental Health Services in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin have received additional investment to improve the support available. As a result, we are excited to advertise a number of new roles, to welcome clinicians who want to work in Children's Mental Health Services. Where people are interested in applying but would need to relocate we can support. Where people are interested and passionate about working with children but have identified additional training, we may be able to train staff to develop the appropriate skills
You will be responsible for the effective management of key performance indicators and financial management targets to meet the aims and the objectives of the quality and performance agenda and in line with Trust objectives.
You will work closely with the Care Group's Quality and Compliance Manager and Service Manager for Children's and Family Services as well as a wide range of colleagues from all disciplines, internal and external.
You will provide line management support for the Business Support Officers within the service.
Main duties of the job
- Work with service managers, clinicians and business support officers to ensure compliance with performance targets, quality standards and contractual requirements.
- Monitor performance activity against targets, KPI's and other service objectives using regular reporting systems, analysing information escalating any issues that may affect targets.
- To assist the operational leads and service managers in the production, analysis, useful presentation and dissemination of information to key people within deadlines to aid decision-making for service improvements and changes; to be responsible for the analysis, investigation and resolution of anomalies and issues.
- To provide effective line management for the Business Support Officers within the Children's and Family Services.
- Monitor, extract and analyse complex information from a variety of sources and resolve queries relating to data quality and compliance of key performance targets.
