CCC Administrator - Call Handler

Job summary

The administration role works alongside an established team taking all the calls and referrals that come through our Care Coordination Centre. The centre is operational 7 days a week excluding Band Holidays, the shifts comprise of 8-4 and 10-6 at a weekend its 08:30 -1 6:30 The customer Contact Centre is based at Anglesey House, Anglesey Road (central Burton) and is co-located with many of the clinical services it supports which makes for a great working environment.

Full, part time and weekend hours considered. (If you wish to just work weekends, this will also be considered.)

As the initial point of contact representing our exceptional services within East Staffordshire, it is important that you have a friendly and approachable manner with excellent call handling skills.

The role involves:

  • Handling inbound calls from members of the public and healthcare professionals.
  • Obtaining and inputting accurate information from the caller on to the EMIS system and relay this information to the appropriate services.
  • Responsible for maintenance of computerised referrals.
  • Booking clinics
  • Working along side our experienced clinicians
  • Ensuring a high level of customer care.
