Job summary
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Podiatry Assistant to join our Community Podiatry Services Team at Midlands Partnership Foundation NHS Trust. The post is full time and will require the post holder to be flexible and able to work in a variety of locations across the Trust, as the service requires.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be working with senior qualified podiatrists and independently to carry out treatments for patients including health promotion. The post holder will be required to deliver high quality professional care within a variety of patient settings including; Health Centres, Clinics, Hospitals, Medical Practices, Residential Settings and Patients Homes. Thepost holder must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, initiative and team spirit, as well as be committed to patient care, assisting them in achieving their maximum potential. The post holder will be encouraged to take part in various CPD activities including clinical support, in house training during team meetings.
