Manager: Obstetrics & Gynaecology, SJUH and LGI
An
opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Business
Manager to join our team within the Womens Clinical Service Unit (CSU) at
Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The Womens CSU comprises Obstetrics,
Gynaecology and Reproductive Medicine with a comprehensive range of
subspecialties.
We
are looking for an experience individual who can work proactively with our
clinical teams, providing visible leadership and initiative to develop our
services to meet the changing needs of our patients.
Supported
by the Service Manager, you will manage resources and finances effectively to
meet the changing needs of the service. You will need to be adept in managing
and balancing conflicting priorities and must have a proven track record in
the delivery of service improvement initiatives across complex clinical and
business environments.

Main duties of the job
You
will have line management responsibility for the Patient Services Coordinator
and associated administrative teams and will oversee several specialty
services. You will be responsible for the performance of the services and
ensuring delivery of activity against plan.
A
good range of interpersonal and communication skills is essential as is the
ability to build, develop and motivate a team effectively. This role offers
excellent opportunities for someone to further enhance their skills in
operational management as we build on much excellent improvement and
efficiency work already achieved.

PURPOSE
The
post holder provides management support to the CSU or a component part of the

The
post holder will also work with members of their CSU and other senior
managers in the strategic development of the services provided by the CSU.

Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust and that CSU and Trust-wide objectives are
