Job summary

Band 6 Specialist Perioperative Practitioner

Wharfedale Theatres

Are you an experienced theatre practitioner? Are you passionate about Day Surgery?

Do you want to be part of an excellent team, providing the best care to Perioperative patients?

WGH is a Day Surgery Unit providing a range of day surgery procedures across a range of specialties. We are based in the market town of Otley and benefit from being part of Leeds Teaching Hospitals but away from the challenges of a busy, acute teaching hospital.

Wharfedale Hospital provides enviable, good on-site parking in comparison to some of our larger sites and as a smaller hospital it is extremely welcoming and friendly.

Main duties of the job

We are about to start on a journey expanding both in size, with 2 new operating theatres and the complexity of cases we deliver so now is an exciting time to join us and be part of that development.

You will need to be a registered Nurse or ODP with demonstrable theatre experience. You will be able to demonstrate compassionate leadership and a willingness to work flexibly across the department.

If this sounds interesting to you then get in touch to find out more about what we have to offer.
