Job summary
Are
you a dynamic, enthusiastic, experienced or newly qualified registered
perioperative practitioner looking to join a versatile theatre department team
that covers Renal Transplantation, Hepato-Biliary Pancreatic Surgery, Thoracic
Surgery, Colorectal, Laparoscopic General Surgery, Urology, Gynaecology and
Obstetrics. We also provide acute anaesthetic cover for outside areas including
Vascular Xray, MRI, CT and Resus. If so,
an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust
to join our busy 24 hour committed team providing patient care within the Acute
and Obstetrics Theatres at St James Hospital. The 24-hour service covers days,
nights, weekends and Bank Holidays, as well as a possible requirement of
supporting other teams within the theatre suite, i.e. Liver Transplantation.
Main duties of the job
Duties
and responsibilities:
You
will be required to provide exemplary patient care carrying out anaesthetic and
scrub duties in a theatre setting. Supporting in assessing patients health and
well-being across a complex and changing caseload. Promoting best practise and
contributing towards quality improvements.

Qualified
ODP or RN.
Hold
a valid HCPC or NMC pin
Be
able to build and hold relationships with the Multidisciplinary Team.
