We have exciting opportunities across Leeds Teaching Hospitals for Band 5 Registered Nurses, newly qualified nurses and current student nurses in their final year. You must be professional, have excellent interpersonal skills, and recognise the need to work flexibly to best serve the needs of our department and patients. Main duties of the job

We are looking for individuals who can create a positive patient experience, are innovative, effective at working collaboratively, advocates for quality improvement and ensures the delivery of high quality patient care. The role is to provide and be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individualised programmes of care. You will deliver care without supervision and take responsibility as the prime care provider for a group of patients and at all times promote confidence in our commitment to provide excellent compassionate patient care. The role will involve taking charge of the ward or department as necessary in the absence of the Sister or Charge Nurse. You will participate in the in-service training, preceptorship and mentorship of junior staff, post basic learners and students as well as maintaining your personal development.
