About us

L12 is a medically optimised for discharge ward that has often up to 10 discharges and admissions per shift. We take patients from anywhere within Leeds General Infirmary from stroke, neurosurgery, vascular, plastic surgery, cardiology and trauma and orthopaedics. The patients are awaiting for care in the community, nursing homes or discharge to their own homes.

The team is quite a new developing team as the ward has only been set up in the last year. Being a hard working, friendly, team player with attention to detail and improving the patient's hospital experience is key. We are constantly driving to improve the quality of care that we give and to improve the standards in accordance with The Leeds Way Values. If you feel like this is the job for you then please apply! We welcome potential candidates to come for an informal visit to the ward.
