We now have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Pharmacy Services Assistant to join our forward thinking and generally all round fantastic team based at ward level. By taking a patient first approach and through compassion and commitment you will focus on helping patients to optimise medicines use by involving them in making decisions about their medicines.
You will collaborate with other teams, communicating effectively to ensure a safe, seamless integrated transfer of care for our patients, providing an integrated delivery of medicines to ensure cost effective, safe and safe and appropriate use of medicines.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide a variety of duties across the multi-speciality wards, including ordering and receipt of medicines, stock management including returned medicines, labelling & dispensing, liaising with patients and other NHS staff, answering telephone queries and clerical duties. You will also help to support our main dispensary at peak times.

The post holder will be required to work evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays on a rotational basis. This post may involve working across all sites at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
Ideally we are are looking for full time, 37.5 hours a week. However we do have a flexible approach to the working hours and this can be over 7 days.
