This
is a 10PA appointment for a Specialty Doctor in Dermatology. This post will be
available from June. This is for a
period of 12 months.
This
post will deliver 10PAs supporting the Dermatology team. The post-holder will
provide skin cancer surgery, general dermatology, patch testing and laser.
The
post will be based at Chapel Allerton Hospital.
Applicants should have established skills in
Dermatology. Excellent communication and
team working skills, a strong commitment to teaching and service development
are essential.
Main duties of the job
This post, within the Leeds Centre for
Dermatology, principally based at Chapel Allerton Hospital, offers the
successful candidate the opportunity to join a dynamic team as well as the
opportunity to develop a stimulating combination of clinical, teaching and
research work. Leeds is a world recognised centre for the management of skin
cancer and offers all the skin cancer treatment modalities locally. The unit
hosts the Regional Specialist MDT for Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer, Melanoma and
Cutaneous Lymphoma. There are also close working relationships with the Head
and Neck MDT and the Sarcoma MDT.
