are invited for a Post CCT Fellow in Reproductive Medicine at Leeds Teaching
Hospitals NHS Trust. The Leeds Centre
for Reproductive Medicine (LCRM) works closely with CARE Fertility Leeds to
offer a full range of infertility investigations and treatments.
The
department of Gynaecology is situated at St Jamess University Hospital (SJUH),
where both day case and inpatient surgery takes place. There are two
departments of Obstetrics at the Leeds General Infirmary and SJUH, with two
delivery suites.
Specialist interests include: the supra-regional
paediatric and adolescent gynaecology service, a joint clinic specifically for
the reproductive health needs of survivors of childhood cancer and those that
have had gamete preservation prior to chemo or radiotherapy and pre
implantation genetic diagnosis, minimally invasive laparoscopic fertility
related surgery is performed by all of the Reproductive Medicine consultants.
Main duties of the job
The
successful candidate will have achieved (or within 6 months) of CCT. There is a
1:9 on call rota commitment on the second on rota, covering both obstetrics and
gynaecology.
