Job summary
This is a 10PA locum appointment for a Consultant Surgeon, with special interests in Foot and Ankle.
Consideration will be given to applicants who wish to work full or part time and those wishing to job share. Prospective applicants are encouraged to visit the hospital.
Main duties of the job
This post will deliver 10 PAs supporting the Foot and ankle team (Mr Ray Monkhouse, Mr Adam Lomax and Mr Paul Dearden). There will be opportunities to contribute to the general trauma service at the LGI and to the trauma on call rota.
The post will be based at Chapel Allerton and LGI.

Contribute to Specialist Multi-disciplinary team meetings
To link with Consultant colleagues in other relevant site specialist teams within the Orthopaedic Service and across the different sub specialities.
To work with colleagues in Trauma to deliver acute on call (currently 1 in 12). This includes both out-of-hours cover in addition to acute ward rounds during normal working hours.

- Applicants must be on the Specialist Register or within six months of being admitted to the Register for trainees if currently in a training programme within the UK, or have references which have bee

- Full GMC Registration Basic Medical Qualification FRCS (Tr&Orth) or equivalent CCT or equivalent (within 3 months) ATLS Provider
