Are you ready to use your Release Manager skills in a way that makes a positive impact on peoples lives? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to become a member of our EHR Delivery team within the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Reporting to the Transformation Programme Manager. To facilitate the process of deploying new versions of key software products through development, test and production environments. Own and develop the associated configuration management, including visibility, security and configuration of change activities, release policies and procedures.

Ensure safe and effective delivery of new software versions into production through establishing and maintaining effective clinically led sign-off processes.

Main duties of the job

You will play a key role in the seamless and successful delivery of releases. Collaboratively working across development, test, business analysis and implementation teams within the EHR Delivery service.

You will develop effective and valued relationships, giving transparency of the forward schedule of change and ensure visibility of this to all interested parties.

You will be supported to work with clear direction and guidance, with plenty of opportunity to form and further develop the service.

You will take the responsibility for leading daily release readiness meetings, provide regular updates to the EHR Delivery team and escalate where appropriate to the EHR Delivery Managers.

  • System or project management experience in multiple environments at Lead level with a DIT environment.
  • Experience of working in large and complex organisations and running services in a variety of deployment models.
  • ITIL

Desirable

  • Previous experience of NHS.
  • Extensive experience of IT project delivery, including database technologies, configuration, implementation, and performance improvements
  • Staff leadership
