Reporting
to the Deputy Chief Digital Information Officer, you will lead, develop and
deliver a comprehensive programme of Cyber Security services and support
within the Trust, liaising with regional and national organisations. This
role requires an individual who is driven, ambitious and passionate about
tackling the threat of Cyber, with a desire to influence at the highest
levels, working in close partnership with senior colleagues.

Main duties of the job
The
Head of Cyber Security will lead the assessment and analysis of IT security
risks and implement security solutions
for the Trusts digital infrastructure. This position is a senior leadership
role, requiring an individual with a strong hands on technical background
and industry knowledge, as well as the ability to work with the Trusts IT
team and its external partners, application development teams, and business
management teams. The role will require a close working relationship with
Information Governance, Data/Voice Communications and the Technical
Infrastructure Team, also working closely with the ICB and NHS England to
ensure LTHT maintains full compliance with national security directives.

organisation within LTHT and its external partners, application development teams,

software installations including Firewalls, comply with national guidelines. They
will also be responsible for working with application development teams to
ensure developed applications are secure and meet the requirements of industry
audits and development standards. This will also apply to any existing and
proposed third party applications the Trust has installed or plans to deploy.
