Job summary

Are you ready to use your asset management and administrative skills in a way that makes a positive impact on peoples lives? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to become a member of our End User Computing Team within the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Reporting to the EUC Development Manager, your role will be to develop and maintain our software and hardware asset management policies, including factors such as licensing management, software and hardware catalogues, asset lifecycle, stock management, reporting, budgeting, and working with both internal CSUs and external vendors

Main duties of the job

To develop and maintain a Trust-wide Software Asset Management policy and a fully costed self/role-select software Catalogue, with an associated triage process to manage software requests centrally, and an aim that all applications are packaged.

Install SAM inventory & licensing management system and develop expert knowledge of Microsoft products and the reliance upon NHS Digital shared services

Assist in the development and maintenance of a Trust-wide hardware database, in conjunction with the Technical Administrator and the EUC Support Teams, advising on asset lifecycle and having input into stock control within the department.

Create effective dashboards to easily communicate key information and progress, generate software compliance reports as needed by stakeholders and leadership teams, and produce monthly, quarterly, yearly asset reports as and when required.

Assist with operational asset budgets and future asset spend planning

  • Windows desktop operating systems and applications
