Digital IT team (DIT). DIT look after the Trusts information technology,
responsible for delivering and embedding the latest digital innovations,
finding the right hardware and software to meet business needs, turning
information into insight and everything in between. Its an exciting time to
join DIT in Leeds, as we continue to build the digital foundations which will
improve the day-to-day experience of our patients and staff and support the
delivery of world class healthcare and research.

Main duties of the job
Plan
and deliver effective, engaging communications to support and promote the work
of the Trusts Digital team.
Proactively identify, research, write
and distribute content, including newsletter articles, web and social media
content, press releases, video, case studies, and award entries.
Produce graphic materials to support
written content, including social media graphics and infographics.
Work with various colleagues to
develop appropriate strategies and plans to support project communications and
engagement.
Advise
colleagues across the team on communications best practice, providing
appropriate support.
About us
Digital
Communications is part of the Trusts IT team.
Were a small team with lots of varied skills, and we work closely with
Corporate Communications, particularly supporting the more technical side of
the Trusts approach to digital communications channels. Were mainly working
from home at the moment, but we catch up regularly on Microsoft Teams and
provide lots of virtual support for each other as needed. No two days are ever
the same, and our work is really rewarding we get the opportunity to work
with lots of fantastic teams and colleagues across the Trust on challenging,
exciting projects which bring our Trust values to life.

The
post holder will be an integral part of the communications team responsible for
supporting the delivery of an effective internal and external communications
service to support Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in the delivery of its
vision, goals and objectives.
This
post covers the whole range of communications functions, providing the
opportunity to be involved in all aspects of work.
The
post has specific responsibility for the planning and delivery of effective,
engaging communications to support and promote the work of the Trusts Digital
team. The post holder will plan, support and manage
activity in a wide range of areas, including internal and external
communications, marketing materials, project-related communications, campaigns,
events and projects.
The post holder will develop appropriate systems and
processes within the Digital Communications team and will be responsible for
maintenance of these systems, particularly focusing on frequency, quality and
evaluating the effectiveness of communications. Information from these systems
will also be used in thecontent of reports to a range of senior
colleagues and will be used to inform continuous improvement. The post holder
will have responsibility for working with senior colleagues in various teams to
facilitate improvement.
The post holder will be responsible for developing and
