Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) Officer to work as part of the Organisational Development and Culture Team, to support the development of eLearning packages within the Trust for a fixed term of 12 months.

The post will be integral to the Employee Journey Team and our broader Organisational Development & Culture team. You will be responsible for collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to produce high quality eLearning packages, videos, and other forms of TEL intervention.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will play a key role in liaising with SMEs to support, co-ordinate and manage the production of digital content to support learning within the Trust. In addition, they will also work closely with the team to provide assistance with administration regarding training queries and updating learning systems used for training provision.

Job responsibilities

The successful candidate will join a fantastic team and undertake the following:

To plan, design, develop and host digital resources to support learning, including eLearning, multi-media resources, online assessments, gamification, audio, and video elements.

To consult with the OD&C team in relation to how technology based pre and post training interventions can support and embed learning.

To provide training within the OD&C team in relation to how to build technology-based assessments which can support validation of learning in both a classroom and self-study environment.

To create interactive multimedia assets such as video clips or audio clips.

To support the Administration Manager/Project Support Officer to ensure that the Trust remain legally complaint with all aspects of copyright, intellectual property rights and data protection in relation to the production of the Trust eLearning materials and within the OD&C remit.

Conduct quality assurance and user acceptance testing on training resources created, including the evaluation of programmes.

To increase the use of learning technology within the department through a range of activities designed to increase the knowledge held by Educators and Facilitators about the possible applications of learning technology.

To undertake a variety of film production to support the organisation in cascading key messages to Trust staff in a timely and cost-effective manner.

To undertake regular evaluation and audits on the uptake of eLearning and other multimedia developments in order to inform on-going improvements and developments.

To work with the Administration Manager/Project Support Officer to design, maintain and improve a wide variety of reports in relation to individual learner status, as well as reporting at Team, department, directorate, and organisational level.

Retain CPD to be at cutting edge of learning technology knowledge and skills.

Provide support to the Employee Journey Team with administrative tasks regarding training and systems used.
