Job summary

Due to an expansion of our portfolio which is part of the exciting new E&F Rostering Project a new Post of Workforce Systems Team Leader has been created.

The Workforce Systems Team covers large areas of rostering for Nursing, Admin and Medical staff groups and maintains both the Healthroster (eRoster) and Electronic Staff Record (ESR) systems. You will be leading one of the Workforce sub teams to support Managers and system users across the Trust in all aspects of both systems.

The successful applicant will provide leadership, guidance, and support in the use of the Trusts workforce systems whilst ensuring adherence to Trust policies and procedures. The successful applicant will be the expert point of contact for the areas they are responsible for.

The post holder will be focused on ensuring that ESR and eRostering are appropriately implemented across the Trust and providing first line support and advice to both Managers and Trust staff for the on-going, administration and maintenance of ESR and eRostering.

Main duties of the job

The purpose of this role is to support, amend and maintain the Trusts workforce systems to meet the requirements of the Trust, Managers, and users.

Primarily responsible for the analysis of highly complex shift patterns and rules to develop, test, deploy, maintain and support individual end user requirements that fit in with the benefits realisation plan agreed as an integral part of the Trust Full Business Case.

To provide comprehensive information, advice and support regarding ESR and eRostering enquiries to Service Managers/Matrons and individual users. To support the CSUs in achieving their business objectives through the fair and effective management of staff resources. The Workforce System Team Leader will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of a team of Workforce Systems Officers and Assistants providing a comprehensive advice and support service to LTHT staff.
