Job summary
Leeds Teaching Hospital Trust have an exciting and new opportunity for an individual to work across Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS FT, Mid-Yorks Teaching Trust and Leeds Teaching Hospitals managing the collaborative contracts in the Pathology departments. The role is based out of the Procurement and Supplies department at LTH and are part of the Finance Directorate. Th role is hybrid, with an expectation to attend the office (across multiple sites) 3 days per week. All IT equipment is supplied.

Main duties of the job
To work with the Director and Associate Director of Commercial and Procurement to ensure value for money from the pathology contracts portfolio across CHFT, MYTT and LTHT. Manage contracts and resources to enable delivery of the vision, business plans, day to day operations, financial and quality targets. Build professional relationships, initiate and lead change.

The role is based out of the Procurement and Supplies department at LTH and are part of the Finance Directorate. The team manages the contractual and financial arrangements for the Trust.
The Procurement and Supplies department has over 150 staff at LTH incorporating Supply Chain, Digital, eProcurement, Warehousing and Contracting. This role would be a key part of the Senior Management Team of the department.
