Job summary
We
are seeking to recruit a motivated Head of Business & Transformation to
join the Commercial Services team within Estates & Facilities, working
across the five Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust sites.
You
will work at a senior management level working closely with the E&F
senior leadership team and clinical teams to lead on Transformation and
Innovation across Estates & Facilities as well as having responsibility
for your services portfolio ensuring that the business, workforce and
financial planning achieve determined KPIs.
In
this role, you will be in a unique position to drive change and improvement
on a large scale, leading on implementing enhancements to our provision and
services in one of the countrys most complex Trusts. The work you do will influence income,
promote savings and impact on patients and staff alike.
You
will need a strong focus on improving patient care and achieving large scale
transformation driving through efficiencies.

Main duties of the job
In
this role, you will:
Manage the performance of the
services including Technical Development, Nurseries, Contracts, E&F Hub,
Residences, Performance/QA and Communications against key targets and
measures.
Ensure that resources are deployed
effectively and that robust processes are in place to support the provision
of efficient, high quality services
Responsible for relevant strategic
programmes and associated budgets and service operational plans
Ensuring Staff, Patient &
Public involvement in service development
Developing and sustaining capacity
and capability within your services
Ensure that service activities are
appropriately recorded in order to maximise income opportunities related to
service provision
Engaging with internal/external
stakeholders; promoting partnerships and co-operative working
Ensure business continuity and risk
management arrangements are in place in the unit
Contribute to the delivery of both
local & organisational objectives
Lead on innovation and
transformation across E & F services supporting the delivery of WRPs
.
