Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of BIM & Data Manager within the Estate Strategy & Development team. This role is based at St Jamess University Hospital.
Candidates will have a background in a related field (e.g., construction, engineering, data management) and experience of managing estate/ building date for a large estate.
To succeed in this role, you will be a proactive team worker with the ability to act on your own initiative.
Main duties of the job
As BIM & Data Manager, you will lead the development and maintenance of the Estate Building Information Modelling (BIM) and data systems. You will have proven ability to identify and enable the realisation of BIM and other strategic estate data-driven business solutions
You will support the senior team with the development and implementation of policies, procedures & data solutions to support the delivery of a Trust-wide approach to a Digital Estate, as a core part of the Trusts Estate Strategy.
You will be responsible for the maintenance of complex and detailed information (including drawings) covering a full range of disciplines and specialisms associated with estate management, ensuring that graphical and non-graphical data is kept up to date to provide an accurate source of information about the estate and its use. This will include information used to inform other critical clinical and non-clinical Trust systems.
You will lead the Trusts processes for estates information submissions, including the annual Estates Return Information Collection, interpreting national information data definitions, and analysing the Trusts position in respect to them.
You will have line management responsibility for the Estate BIM & Data Management team, together with associated budgetary management.

The Estates BIM & Data Management team is a specialist service area within the department of Estate Strategy & Development. The team will be key part of the estates and facilities services continuing digital transformation strategy over the coming years. You will have the opportunity to development and implement solutions which will support the delivery this strategy.
This role reports to the Associate Director for Estate Strategy & Development. You will develop close working relationships with key stakeholders including the Trusts capital projects team, operational estates, corporate planning service and Estates & Facilities technical development team.
