We are seeking to recruit a dynamic, motivated Band 6 Registered Nurse to join the Scheduling Team for the Cardiac Catheter Laboratory Suite in Leeds.
The Cardiology service at the Leeds General Infirmary is a fast paced, high volume, and multi-specialty. Working with the support of the Matron and other members of the Cath Lab Team your role will focus on; coordinating the Primary PCI Service and the effective scheduling of acute and elective patients requiring cardiology interventions from within the West Yorkshire Region.

This role is a part time 28.5 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
The role includes ensuring lists and Labs are used effectively by liaising with all disciplines including anaesthetists, surgeons, ICU staff, as well as the wider aspects of the CSU. You will also be responsible for meeting the data management requirements for a nationally held data base. You will be responsible for managing patient flow via our Live electronic scheduling system Care Cube. You will work closely with the Cath Lab Nurse Coordinator and the Senior Sister in the THS and L14 to a deliver a safe and effective patient pathway, supporting the recovery unit as required.
The role will give you the opportunity to develop advanced skills in identifying risks and solving complex issues. You will gain valuable experience in organisational skills and prioritising the needs of patients across the service.
