seeking a driven, flexible, and hardworking Administrator to join our MDT
Cancer Administration Team. As an MDT Coordinator, youll be at the heart of
our Multidisciplinary Teamsproviding support & recording high-quality,
accurate, and timely data that directly supports critical clinical
decision-making. Youll proactively monitor patients against National Cancer
Waiting Times Standards, spotting issues early and escalating them to keep
services running smoothly and patients on track.

Main duties of the job
You
will be at the centre of our MDT
service, attending weekly MDT meetings that may involve early starts, late
finishes, or lunchtime sessions. In this pivotal role, youll provide
end-to-end administrative supportpreparing and circulating patient lists,
ensuring all new and referred cancer patients are discussed in line with
national guidance, and collating complete clinical information ahead of
deadlines.
Youll
expertly coordinate each MDT meeting, making sure notes, imaging, pathology,
and all essential documentation are ready and accessible. During meetings,
youll accurately record outcomes and actions, update treatment plans in the
electronic patient record, and keep all MDT members informed of any changes
to schedules or venues.
Youll
collect and manage data in real time, respond to clinical information
queries, and maintain precise attendance records for quarterly audits. Beyond
day-to-day delivery, youll play an active role in improving MDT processes
and contributing to service improvement projects, including data collection
and pathway mapping.
Youll
bring experience with patient information systems (EPR, PAS, PPM or similar),
a strong understanding of information governance, and excellent
communication, organisation and attention to detail. Youll also manage a
small admin team, ensuring effective cover and the smooth running of MDT
services, as well as training and HR processes.
