Leeds
Teaching Hospitals (LTHT) are pleased to announce that we are recruiting for
Band 5 Registered Nurses. We are welcoming applications from experienced and
newly qualified nurses including third year nursing students.
You
must be professional, have excellent interpersonal skills, and recognise the
need to work flexibly to best serve the needs of our departments and
patients. Additionally, you must be able to work autonomously and within a
team whilst having a passion for delivering customer service and a desire to
provide an exceptional patient experience.
We
have vacancies in our adult clinical service units (CSUs) excluding the
following:
Outpatients
AMS
Childrens
Theatres
Womens
Available

Main duties of the job
We are looking for individuals who can create a
positive patient experience, are innovative, effective at working
collaboratively, advocates for quality improvement and ensures the delivery of
high-quality patient care. The role is to provide and be responsible for the
assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individualised
programmes of care. You will deliver care without supervision and take
responsibility as the prime care provider for a group of patients and at all
times promote confidence in our commitment to provide excellent compassionate
patient care. The role will involve taking charge of the ward or department as
necessary in the absence of the Sister or Charge Nurse. You will participate in
the in-service training, preceptorship and mentorship of junior staff, post
basic learners and students as well as maintaining your personal development.

Communicate with patients and carers
