Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 12-month secondment as a ward clerk on the Paediatric Critical Care Unit (PCCU). We are looking for a forward thinking, motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team.

Main duties of the job

We are recruiting to a full-time position, you will be joining a friendly diverse team with hours available 08.00-18.00hrs Monday to Friday. We will support flexible working hours and open to discuss a working pattern that may work for you.

You will undertake administrative duties at ward level including the accurate and timely recording of patient activity data on Trust systems. To undertake clerical and related duties on the ward and enable Sister/Charge Nurse and other ward staff to concentrate more freely on direct patient care. This will involve considerable liaison with other departments and wards on behalf of the ward staff.
