Job summary

The Leeds Childrens Hospital are looking to recruit a Database Co-Ordinator to support the Long-Term Ventilation (LTV) Team in managing the needs of our patients in the community. This post has been funded for one year by the Paediatric Critical Care ODN as part of the resilience funding awards and has been created to directly support the LTV service and wider systems at times of increased pressure.

We are seeking an experienced self-motivated, hardworking person who works to a high professional standard and is used to working on their own initiative. The successful candidate must be able to provide a comprehensive administrative/secretarial service to the team, as well as manage databases for equipment and liaise with other teams / organisations that support the service.

The post holder must be able to communicate sensitively and effectively with a wide range of people including patients, families, medical staff, and the wider multi-disciplinary team

Main duties of the job

The Leeds Childrens Hospital are looking to recruit a Database Co-Ordinator to support the Long-Term Ventilation (LTV) Team in managing the equipment needs for our patients in the community.

To be successful in this role you will need to be highly organised, pay attention to detail and be able to manage competing priorities, using your own initiative to solve problems. You will need excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across staff groups, always conducting yourself in a professional manner.

This post has been funded by the Paediatric Critical Care ODN as part of the resilience funding awards and has been created to directly support the LTV service and wider systems at times of increased pressure.

About us

The post holder will report to the Patient Services Co-ordinator for Childrens Services but will be located along side the Childrens Long Term Ventilation Team to ensure the most effective support.
