you an experienced Children and Young Persons Palliative Care nurse, a
recognised clinical expert, with a passion for service improvement and
collaborative working, and ready for a new challenge working across the
health and care system?
We
are looking for an outstanding individual to develop and support the delivery
of the West Yorkshire ICB Specialist Paediatric Palliative End of Life Care
Service for children and young people affected by life-limiting and/ or
life-threatening conditions and their families. Hosted by Leeds Teaching
Hospital Trust your collaborative approach will enable you to work
effectively with all relevant stakeholders across West to achieve equitable
access to palliative and end-of-life care for children and young people, as
recommended by NICE guidance. The focus of this role will be to support the
interconnectivity of NHS Trusts in West Yorkshire in addition to supporting the
delivery of the broader palliative and end of life care strategy for children
and young people.
You will be able to evidence your experience
of managing and developing clinical services in addition to programme
management methodology to lead strategically and your ability to work across
a complex and evolving system. As an experienced senior nurse, you will also
have clinical responsibility to provide clinical advice to families and staff
and will also provide support and supervision to local teams.
Main duties of the job
As
the Clinical Programme Manager for the West Yorkshire ICB Specialist
Paediatric Palliative Care Service, you will be professionally and
managerially accountable to the Head of Nursing at the Leeds Childrens Hospital.
You will also be required to provide regular assurance to the West Yorkshire
Integrated Care Board (ICB) on delivery against defined programme objectives.

The

and making appropriate referrals to other professionals where required. They
will also work regionally across the Yorkshire and Humber region.
The
