Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust are looking for a number of dynamic and inspiring individuals who will bring enthusiasm for change and a willingness to adopt new technologies and ways of working.

This post will be within the Admissions Department and will be based at the The Chapel Allerton Hospital.

Candidates will have the ability to be flexible and have an open, supportive working relationship with the staff in their teams to encourage professional development.

This role provides a high standard of clerical service and, where necessary, reception duties to the Clinical Service Units, adhering to departmental guidelines and policies.

To undertake a range of clerical and administrative duties which will include receiving and checking documentation, reports and patient information, processing appropriately within departmental guidelines, entering information onto the appropriate IT system and retrieving information as and when required

We offer support through a structured period of induction, and training will be given along with opportunities for professional development in a supportive environment.

Main duties of the job

Band 2 Clerical Officer - Admissions Department - Chapel Allerton Hospital

The Clerical Officer is expected to provide an efficient, effective and accurate administration and reception service in line with the policy statements provided in the Trusts Patient Access policies, to support the delivery of high standard and cost effective treatment for patients
