looking for 2 dynamic self-motivated Band 6 Sisters/Charge Nurses to join our
team on ward J91. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to support the
Matron and the Senior team to ensure expert high-quality care is delivered.
J91
is a busy Gastroenterology/Hepatology ward with a specialist interest in
complex mental health patients especially those with an eating disorder,
parental and enteral nutrition patients.
J91
is looking to build on its current management team, to support the
development of staff and the quality and experience of care delivered to our
patients.
You

Main duties of the job
J91
is a busy, challenging and highly rewarding working environment, we have a
fantastic team of inclusive, hardworking, caring individuals. We are now
looking to recruit two further permanent band 6 nursing roles to support
patient care. J91 covers a 24 hour service and will therefore include days,
nights and weekends.
This
is a demanding and challenging role and we are looking for individuals who
are committed to providing an excellent service, have a progressive outlook
and can evidence strong leadership skills. The post holder will need to
demonstrate resilience and willingness to embrace and drive forward change as
part of the senior nursing team. Our successful candidate will have excellent
communication skills, be able to act as a clinical resource within the
department as necessary, be able to role model excellent behaviours, based on
the Leeds Way values to support safe and effective patient care.

jobholder will play an essential role assisting the Senior Sister/Charge

efficient management of the ward / department. They will contribute to the provision of
professional, clinical, managerial leadership and supervision for the nursing

administrative and financial aspects of the ward the jobholder will support

assist in co-ordinating activities on the ward ensuring effective
communication is maintained at all times. They will act as a role model,
promoting quality evidence-based practice, developing the nursing team and
