Bowel Cancer Screening Programme Hub Operational Manager

Job summary

The department has a secondment opportunity for a Operational Manager to support maternity cover. The secondment will be for 12 months.

As a Operational Manager, the post holder will support the Bowel Cancer Screening Management Team in leading and managing the day-to-day co-ordination of the team and provide a comprehensive service to the BCSP North East Programme Hub ensuring an efficient and professional service is provided. The post holder will coordinate the daily Hub activity, monitoring quality, maintaining standards to achieve a cost-effective service.

Acting as the day-to-day task co-ordinator to the Hub Management Team, duties will include staff supervision and co-ordination of all Hub Functions. In addition to supervising the team and day to day service this post will support and cross cover in all areas supporting the Hub Management team at regional and national meetings and service provision.
